The Algoma Workforce Investment Corporation (AWIC) is a community-based, non-profit corporation. It is one of 26 Workforce Planning Boards in the Province of Ontario, funded by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD). AWIC is a trusted community partner in Algoma, providing data and insight in support of a diverse and talented workforce that contributes to a prosperous community.

Services
AWIC's Data Tools are a suite of labour market tools that provides an extensive representation of the labour market in the Algoma. It aggregates job postings from 25 sources along with a host of community resources, a career pathway explorer and more into one central location that the public can access.
Free employer and employment services are available from Employment Ontario through the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU). Employment Ontario provides a wide range of services for employers, Human Resources (HR) professionals and job-seekers. There are various websites available to help job-seekers and employers.
