With over 25 years of industry experience under his belt, Barry 'Bare' Hanson - our co-founder - decided to follow his passion and strike out on his own with the support of his wife, Carol.Owners Barry and Carol work as a team, with Carol looking after the front end and Barry taking care of the shop.

I had been on the road for close to 9 hours from Coquitlam BC heading to Puntze Lake when a deer hit me coming just out of Williams Lake - minor damage (the deer survived lol) but I couldn't open my drivers door - i was directed by a local gentleman to head back down the hill to Bare's auto shop - they took me in immediately and banged out my fender and had me back on the road in less than 15 mins - at no charge!!! I would highly recommend this service based on professionalism and kindness alone! They made an overwhelming road trip that much easier - I made it to my destination and back home with

Excellent service & workmanship. I took my RAV4 in for repairs to a hit and run claim. Super frustrating to have to deal with having my car fixed in my home town not to mention I really didn’t know what kind of workmanship would be done. So I drove to Williams Lake to have it repaired! They did an amazing job bringing my car back to original with genuine Toyota parts! PLUS... I got a courtesy car to drive while it was in the shop! Thank you Carol & Barry & staff much appreciated 😁

Our go-to auto body repair shop. We come from out of town to get work done here, they have always done a great job on our vehicles. They recently did some work on our brand new car that got in an accident and it was returned to us in perfect, like-new condition. Highly recommend Bare's if you want trustworthy work and friendly help.

Nothing but positive things to say about Bare's. Had my car fixed there after been rear-ended and dealing with an insurance company (not Mine) that made me feel like they were doing me a favor fixing the car their insured had damaged. Bares took over all the necessary arrangements with the insurance company and quality were all TOP Notch. Everything with my car turned out perfect. Thanks Carol and Barry!!!!!!!!!

Was 'very' pleased with their work and it was done quickly, so I have chosen to use them again. I dropped my car off there late on a Friday evening and they were closed until Monday. I got a call early Saturday and they set me up and gave me a courtesy car so I would not be without for the weekend. Thank you so much for caring and working for me even when you are closed. This is the best customer service ever!

Was told that my car would only take a day to fix, continuously kept having to call and ask when my car was going to be ready. All they could say was the next day and they never seemed to know any other info on the car like payments, times. Etc. Don’t forget they can’t even put down the right name for your file. This happened for 4 days straight on going, meanwhile I was using a rental car. After the first day of dropping it off I had to go down to get something from my car only to see that it is untouched and they had not started fixing it yet. For a person renting a vehicle you can see how
