We are just leaving the campground today, stayed here 3 nights. We are 3 weeks into our East Coast adventure and so far, this is the best campground we've stayed at; very clean, friendly owner and staff, great laundry facility, very close to Cabot Trail and awesome restaurants, it's right on the lake... Campsites are close together but definitely big enough for a 32 foot RV, picnic table, 20 foot trailer, fire pit, with enough room left to comfortably move around.
We loved it and will definitely be back.

Don't you sometimes feel selfish in sharing info about a place coz you're afraid that it will get crowded and lose your spot on your next visit? Well, this is what this gem feels like! Found it by accident and became my fave camping site! The most amazing shower room that i have ever encountered and it's free!!! No quarters needed!!! Such a blessing after a night from a no shower campground. They take pride on cleanliness which is reeeeaaaallly important to me. Staff are very friendly! Love this place!

A grassy parking lot for trailers (I guess some people like that). There are some nice looking cabins and a handful of ‘premium’ tent sites that are okay, but it is pretty high density; they are too close together. The regular tent sites are worse with no privacy and right next to each other in a field. Washrooms were nothing special, but were kept clean, as was the rest of the park. Not great for swimming, but there is a pool and a small old playground. Close to highway, so noisy. A quick overnight spot at best if you are tenting. Although, the cabins would make a good base if you exploring

After spending all day on the Cabot Trail we arrived at the camp ground around 6pm. Upon checking in we were greeted by the nice receptionist. We rented one of the basic cabins for the evening and we could not of been more pleased. One of the nicest cabins we have stayed in on a campground. Very quiet, clean and well kept. Even tho it was end of season and cold, the cabin had a very cozy feel. Enjoyed our drinks by the fire. We would definitely stay again when back to do some more exploring.
