JamSchool is a performance based music education centre with two locations in Guelph, Ontario. We focus on getting each and every student on stage to perform. We believe that performance is key to developing a life-long love of music and becoming engaged in music education. Our Recording School program also provides hands-on training in the area of music recording and programming.
At JamSchool, our focus is on creating an environment to learn and interact with other students. Regular scheduled performances, give our students the opportunity to take the stage with their peers. Our aim is to get students of all ages and levels on stage performing and falling in love with music in the process.

Services
As a performance based music education centre, it's only natural that JamSchool partner with businesses and organizations in the community. Whether it's performing a set at a community event or providing music for a formal function, JamSchool can be found all over the city working with partners of all shapes and sizes.
To date, our annual Holiday Showcase and Guelph Food Bank Fundraiser has generated nearly $15,000 and over 2,000 kg of non-perishable food items, representing approximately 50,000 meals for needy families in the Guelph area. In 2020, our JamSchool families donated $4,145, providing 12,425 meals for people in need in our community.
Music lessons with JamSchool are student-centered, fun, and unlike instruction anywhere else. Our students benefit from excellent, experienced instructors, and opportunities to perform live in real music venues, supported by music industry professionals. At JamSchool, students of all ages learn music in a supportive and caring environment.
At JamSchool, we recognize that all students, regardless of their age, learn music at different paces. For that reason, our teachers will work with you to determine what your goals and expectations are, and will prepare a music lesson plan that will put you on the path to the success and enjoyment of your chosen instrument.
Weekly private music lessons are a great way to get started on your music education journey at JamSchool. We will help determine the best instrument and the right teacher. After that, we will work with you to find a day and time that fits your schedule. Weekly lessons are a great way to stay accountable to yourself and keep on the right track with practice at home.
