Mechanical Contractors Association
The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) represents more than 1,000 firms engaged in plumbing, HVAC, controls systems, medical gases, welding, and fire suppression primarily within the industrial, commercial, institutional and service sectors. As a national association, and working closely with our provincial MCA partners, we provide resources and best practices to help our members succeed in their business.

Through the Construction Education Council, MCAC offers first-class and acclaimed training programs to enhance career and skill development designed specifically for the construction industry. The Mechanical Service Contractors of Canada (MSCC) provides support, education and promotion for the service sector of the mechanical contracting industry across Canada.
Services
The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada is comprised of dedicated professionals working together for the promotion, improvement, and advancement of the mechanical contracting industry. The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) is a national, non-profit business association. MCAC welcomes service and repair contractors, manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and other construction industry related organizations.
MCA Canada has a number of electronic and hardcopy publications delivered throughout the year. All MCA Canada members receive a hardcopy of our MCAC National Bulletin, Information Guide, and Member Directory. We also publish Digital Bulletin twice each year, which is available online.

In addition, our weekly e-newsletter Just-The-Fax provides information and updates on industry issues, and we regularly send electronic updates throughout the year on important topics and events.Our weekly electronic newsletter Just-The-Fax features news and updates from the mechanical contracting industry and Canadian construction industry.
The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) is an exciting and diverse association of approximately 1,000 companies in new mechanical construction, service contracting and supplier organizations. MCA Canada has three distinct categories of membership, representing approximately 1,000 firms in the mechanical contracting industry.
Each year, the MCAC Board of Directors selects a Charity of Choice, and encourages members from across Canada to help support this important cause. Previous Charities of Choice have included Operation Eyesight, which saw more than $25,000 raised by MCAC.

In 2019, MCAC President Jack Bavis and the MCAC Board of Directors announced the ALS Society of Alberta as the charity of choice for 2019, in honour of past MCAC President David Flamand's sister Patsy Brooks.The ALS Society of Alberta is a non-profit organization dedicated to making each day the best possible day for people living with and affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
As a national association established in 1895, MCA Canada has a storied history. Life Membership may be conferred on any individual who, upon retirement or otherwise, is recognized by the Association for his/her contribution to the work of the association. Life Members shall enjoy all the privileges of ordinary members except the right to vote or hold office.
