In 1967, the Perlich's left to begin their own venture. The Juris family continued to operate Picture Butte Auction until 2001 when the Dunsbergen family purchased the auction mart, who operated it for the next 20 years. Picture Butte Auction was then bought by the deLeeuw and Slingerland families in 2021, and they are now the current owners of the auction market.

We have two regularly held auctions every week, starting with our slaughter cattle sales on Tuesdays at 10:30 am. Saturdays we have our mixed livestock auction starting at 10:00 am with miscellaneous, hogs, sheep, goats and horses followed by mixed cattle at 11:30 am. We also run different specials throughout the year, including (but not limited to) Equipment auctions, Sheep and Goat features, and our Odd N Unusual Sale.

Love this auction but must say I prefer the old canteen rather than the new format.Where are the fresh donuts from the bakery and the coffee this time round was terrible. The donut and coffee were part of the atmosphere of sale day!
