D.G.Biddle & Associates Limited was formed in 1973 by Devon G. Biddle, and incorporated in 1974 to provide Consulting Engineering Services, principally in Civil Engineering. The company grew from an initial group of 3 employees to what it is today. Currently, the firm offers Consulting Engineering and Planning services principally in the land development industry, with a complement of approximately 45 employees.
D.G. Biddle & Associates provided engineering design and construction administration for a Draft Plan of Subdivision for 68 new single family homes. Professional services provided include planning applications, design of municipal services (sanitary, storm and water), lot grade design, obtained approvals from the Region of Durham, Municipality of Clarington and Central Lake Ontario Conservation and construction administration.
D.G. Biddle & Associates Limited works closely with provincial and municipal government approval agencies to ensure design plans meet all design criteria and the Ontario Building Code. We offer a full range of services for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial land uses. Municipal site services design, including storm sewers, sanitary sewers, domestic water and fire lines.
The Planners at D.G. Biddle & Associates Limited draw on significant municipal and private land use planning experience to navigate land development and municipal approvals process. We work in concert with our clients, our in-house engineering professionals and sub-consultants to take your small or large projects from initial concept to final design.

This firm is amazing. They work professionally and quickly, while caring for their clients. Tim did drawings and review for us in an extremely timely manner, and when clarification was needed, he went above and beyond to assist us, even when it was late in the day on a Friday. These fine folks came on short notice to advise us about a broom closet wall that was slated to be removed in preparation for a kitchen reno. It turns out that a portion of the wall is structural support . We were able to return to our kitchen designers in time to adjust the design to take this important information into account before we were financially committed to the original design. Kudos to Will from Biddle for a job well done.
