In most situations, a local moving company will charge by the hour for moving you to your new home. This will include travel to your present home from their depot, loading the truck with your belongings, travel time to your new home, unloading and setting up your furniture and boxes, and travel time back to their depot.
The tiny farming village of Cobble Hill is situated on Vancouver Island, in the Cowichan Valley. Cobble Hill is located on Highway #1, approximately 30 km southeast of Duncan and 45 km north of Victoria. Cobble Hill has an average July temperature of 17.3 °C and an average January temperature of 2.3°C.
The Hudson's Bay Company established a trading post in 1849, but the discovery of coal in 1852 led to permanent settlement. In 1862, the Vancouver Coal Mining and Land Co. bought out the HBC Mines and expanded operations. Completion of the Esquimalt to Nanaimo Railway in 1886 spurred development. The city grew with its increasing coal output.

If I could give these guys 10 stars, I definitely would! These guys were readily available for scheduling our move in less than a week. Wesley and Matthew were awesome at helping us move everything out, extremely punctual and professional, and very personable throughout the process. I was shocked they were able to get everything out in one piece (minus our kitchen table, but I had some tools to take off the legs, which was all they needed), including our entertainment stand which is massive! Hopefully the guys enjoyed my cooking that I provided for anyone helping us move. Craig was also very helpful

So happy with the quality of work! I worked with Craig who was super professional and called me back same day I inquired about a quote, which I did not receive any sort of reach out from any other company I was looking into. My movers were Wesly and Manuel both of which were awesome to work with and made moving the absolute easiest I've ever done. Anyone thinking of using this company should and I promise you won't be disappointed.

I am SO glad I found Minute Men Professional Movers!!! My roommate and I were a bit nervous going into this as this was both of our first times relying on a moving company to move us out, but Wesley and Matthew did a fantastic job at moving all of our furniture and several boxes out from our old place to our new place. They were so efficient and you cannot beat the price. Other moving companies I received estimates from were quoting nearly twice as much as I paid for Minute Men. I 100% recommend them and will absolutely use them the next time I move.
