Services
JCIC Asset Management Inc. is a 26 year old employee-owned firm whose investment approach and target clientele have remained unchanged since the firm was founded. With 14 employees, JCIC provides investment management to individual families, trust, foundations and companies. JCIC is comprised of seven officers supported by a dedicated staff of client service managers, investment professionals, and operations managers.
We are not interested in just selling investment products, but instead we focus on providing thoughtful advice and investment services. We strive to provide clients with the tools to achieve their long-term investment goals. We offer both segregated and pooled fund investment portfolios to our clients to ensure accounts of all sizes can be managed under our investment philosophy.
Douglas Jones was a co-founder of JCIC in 1993 and has worked in the investment management business for more than 47 years, bringing extensive experience in research and the management of portfolios for individuals and pooled funds. His responsibilities throughout the firm's history have included all facets of the business - portfolio management, operations, client relationships and compliance.
Family wealth management can be complex. At JCIC, we understand the complexities and the delicate balance required to meet each of our clients' objectives. That's why generations of families have put their trust in us to help meet their goals for their families and their futures. The main risk control we use is diversification.
Just as we believe in diversifying our investment approach, we view our commitment to the community with a similar perspective. We emphasize involvement with local organizations, through intersections in arts and culture, education, healthcare and social services. As a small company, we engage with causes important to our employees and clients, supporting charities that have impacted their lives, or are particularly important to them.
