Provided with leadership and resources our coaches are committed to providing a great hockey experience. Founded in 1989, the Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) program has become one of the most successful in Atlantic Canada. Through its many different hockey schools and leagues, the AHG works with over 5000 hockey players each year.

Our team of experienced coaches come from the ranks of university, junior, high school and minor hockey teams. Our vision is to support the development of hockey players across Atlantic Canada and to enable them the tools and resources to compete against players from across the globe.
Services
Our coaches come from the ranks of university, junior, high school, and minor hockey teams. Program based in Moncton, NB designed to improve overall skating speed and controls in the various elements of skating including balance, mobility and agility. New Glasgow (NS) program is designed to improve individual skills and to prepare the student for the upcoming hockey season.
A player's skating ability must be honed so sharply that their reactions become instinctive and by nature second hand. SKATING on the EDGE is a skating development program which covers the techniques for maximizing speed on the ice while maintaining control at all times.

It encompasses every aspect of skating necessary to develop into a more effective and valuable hockey/ringuette player, pleasure skater or anyone wanting to improve their skating.
The 2021-2022 CCM Hockey Academy will feature winter on-ice training programs for the U7 to U15 levels. The ultimate goal of our programs will be to provide the proper structure and environment to challenge our students as they reach for the NEXT LEVEL. The training sessions curriculum will be overseen by AHG Head Instructor Roland Collette.
The 2021-22 U9 (Novice) AAA Academy will be offered in Halifax as well as New Glasgow. This program will be geared for the most advanced players. Scheduling will be geared to avoid any conflicts with the different minor hockey associations. The ultimate goal of our program is to provide the proper structure and environment to challenge our advanced players in order to prepare them for competitive u11 hockey and beyond.
The goal of the Cape Breton CCM Academy will be to provide the proper structure to challenge our students as they reach for the NEXT LEVEL. This years CCM Academy will take place at the U7 and U9 levels. Please note for the U9 level a limited number of 2012 players will be allowed on each team. The Academy will be geared for the most advanced players.
