Just US Coffee House & Roasterty
Our producer-partners are small scale farmer co-ops who sell the world's best beans to us. People who enjoy our coffee enjoy their care and craft. When our customers choose Just Us!, their investment stays in Canada and with farmers in the Global South, fostering equality and growth. We support grassroots organizations, plant the seeds of justice at our coffee's origin, and weave positive impact into what we sell.

Enjoying any Just Us! coffee is already a vote for small producers and authentic fair trade, organic excellence, and a business owned by its workers. By selecting one of our special-initiatives blends, bring the world's best coffee as well as directed social impact into your daily ritual:. As a worker-owned co-op made by and for people who love coffee, we've put people and planet first since 1995.
Services
Many folks know Just Us! as Canada's first fair trade and organic coffee roaster, but we didn't begin with the goal of selling coffee. We've always been centred around social and environmental justice, aiming to promote an alternative to an exploitative global trade that favours white, western cultures.
At Just Us! we select the finest 100% arabica green beans from democratically-run, certified fair trade and organic cooperatives. When you order Just Us! coffee, we roast those beans to perfection in our antique, German-manufactured roasters fresh to-order, just for you-then we pack and ship them to you that same day.
We have been a worker co-op since our founding in 1995. From our baristas and roasters to our managers and administrators, everyone who works at Just Us! can be member-owners, as inspired by the small producer farm co-ops we partner with in the Global South. This democratic foundation underpins our social, environmental, and economic impact.
Just Us! is inspired by the small producer farm co-ops we partner with in the Global South. This democratic foundation underpins our social, environmental, and economic impact. We were the first Canadian organic coffee roaster in the world to join the Small Producers Symbol in 2011. We refer to it by its Spanish acronym, SPP.
We are working on finding the most beneficial way to ensure our bags are recycled with the least impact on the environment. Until we find a solution we are satisfied with, all returned Just Us! Coffee Bags are being kept in storage, awaiting their recycling future. We also continue to look for packaging that is 100% "really" biodegradable and does not contain genetically modified plant plastics or products that would otherwise be used as food.

Popped into Just Us! Coffee last month while in Wolfville, NS, for the Devour Food Film Fest.

Just Us! was lovely and very inviting. I loved the colourful artwork, ample seating, and lots of natural light. We were visiting at the end of October so it was quite cold but I imagine in the summer months they can roll up the large bay doors for fresh air and coffee on the patio.

There were lots of interesting wares and goods to look at for sale while I awaiting my pumpkin spiced latte. Of most interest to me were the coffee bean plants! I had literally never seen coffee beans growing before

Would have given it 5 stars because I love their coffee and service is good not great at this location.
Why 2 stars, well first of all I want to add I understand it's the country there will be flies however this was disgusting, a couple of flys trapped in the pastry display so gross, turned me off from buying any food items. The single washroom closest to the barista bar is disgusting so many flies hovering around the toilet.
I understand that when the staff isn't trained properly what can happen. Also they don't care if it looks run down and unhygienic.. their coffee is delicious

I love this location. The staff was very friendly and there is lots of seating inside the atrium of an old movie theatre. I'm glad they could revive this old space to a great cafe to bring your friends, family or work on your laptop.

I've been going there for a year now and quite honestly I would have given it 5 stars back then but just yesterday I went on my business and dropped in for an Americano and to get a bit warm before I head out of town. Anyways.
It's an interesting concept of a coffee shopped attached to a theatre in what is considered downtown Wolfville. There are 2 rooms with plenty of sitting space.
It could be a winter thing, but this place has gone downhill since the last time I was there and I don't mean drink wise, but the interior... I sat on a wobbly table that had traces of the last 5 people

Great coffee shop for locals and guests. Housed in a converted movie theatre, it has a hipster vibe without being pretentious. Would fit right in if it was in Portland, OR.

Lots of organic, free trade roasts to choose from.

This is a peachy keen Just Us café in the heart of downtown Wolfville, a dream for refueling for the drive back to the city, a day of apple picking, or an all-night rager at the Anvil. Whatever floats your boat.

Having been to, um, pretty much all the other Just Us cafés in the region, this one measures up just fine to most, but doesn't quite live up to the original slash coffee museum just outside of town.

While the coffee and staff are standard, the vibe at the other just has a more pleasant feel. You definitely get the sense that this location would make a perfect university café for

Nice staff, kinda funky granola decor, pretty good eats, they do ok art on their drinks, wi-fi works... ordering a Mocha... well that is a different story.

My first visit two years ago i asked for a Mocha and got some poor excuse made with regular coffee and chocolate! That's not a Mocha guys! "Oh that's a Cafe Mocha" she said, "what you want is a Mochachino, it's made with Espresso". I've lived in cafe central (West Coast) for the past 15 years, where Canadian cafe culture pretty much started...they are called Mochas period!

A Mocha is a Mocha, I have
