We offer a variety of package deals at competitive prices and we ensure customer satisfaction. The owner and instructor, Dusko (Dan) has more than 30 years of experience in the trucking industry in both North America and Europe.
Gold Star Professional Driving School in Burnaby, BC is a licensed and insured Burnaby driving school dedicated to helping people obtain their Class 1 and 3 license. We have a team of professionals who work one on one with our students to teach them how to safely drive and pass their road test. We want to prove that we are the best and the way to do that is to offer appealing prices followed by excellent service.
Gold Star Professional Driving School's mission is to teach its students everything they need to know on the road. Recently started learning how to drive and am a bit nervous around cars in general. Found the instructor was very patient, calm and clear and enjoyed the lessons. The instructor knew all that was required for the class 7 test i was going to take and showed me what would be tested. Gold star professional driving school was school I chose to do my class 1 with after researching every school available for class 1 in lower mainland.
If you were at one time a student of ours, you would know that we take a lot of pride and are as excited as you are when you pass your road test! We love seeing the looks on your faces when you walk back into ICBC giving us a thumbs up and we want to share your success stories with everyone out there.

Gold Star professional driving school is excellent. They were extremely flexible with arranging driving practice times with me and helped me gain a lot of confidence quickly, having no prior experience driving large vehicles. I was trained with a great deal of patience by Dusko Dan and all the highly experienced instructors.I passed my driving test for my Class 1 license. I also found the pricing to be quite good compared to other schools, and did not feel pressured to pay for any more lessons than was necessary to achieve my goals. Overall I would highly recommend this school if you're interested

This driving school is fantastic. Professional instructors, extremely courteous adaptable with scheduling and they want to help you achieve your goal.
The staff take pride in their training and work. Great service is hard to find but I found it here at Gold Star and they were also very affordable with modern trucks. If you somehow manage to fail your test it is on you. They have addressed every concern of mine throughout the entire process. Very hard working people. I recommended them to anyone.

My experience with Gold star was awesome. I just completed my test today. I couldn't even wait for one day to give them my review. They are awesome trainers. Ana, Dan and Geoff. Oh wow ! You made me pass this road test so easily. Not even a 0.1 percent doubt in recommending this driving school.Very dedicated teachers. They want their students to pass. Excellent set of people. I just took lessons with them for a week and this is my very first attempt in Canada. And yes I PASSED! Thanks a lot for your support.

I would like to commend Gold Star Professional Driving School for their excellent coaching skills during my experience with them. I had many options to choose from when I arrived in Canada but they stood out in terms of their professionalism and ease of communication.

I had lessons with both Dan + Anna within a relatively short period of time before my road test which I passed. About me: I am a mature student who doesnt own a car and relied wholly on 10-15 hrs of driving lessons within the last two years. Overall in life I had probably another 30 hours driving ever. I was at a stage in my career where I needed to drive and I decided to book 2-3 lessons a week for 4 weeks prior to my road test. I found gold star driving very supportive of me achieving these goals and really felt a big difference between my first few lessons against my last few polishing lessons

I had a very pleasant experience with Gold Star Professional Driving School and I can definitely say that I was not disappointed! This is a professional, dedicated, and affordable school that will get you into the driver's seat very fast! I passed my Class 1 driving test the first time-while my husband, who attended another driving school, only got his license on his second try. My instructor was Dusko. He went out of his way to schedule my driving practice based on my availability and that took a lot of pressure off of learning to drive a commercial vehicle. This was a great place to learn how
