Ordered a wheelchair taxi 24 hours in advance of my appointment at Chilliwack General Hospital to arrive at 8:15 Monday morning. When they had not arrived by 8:25 I called dispatch and was told the van should arrive in about 5 minutes (they hoped. I waited until 8:30 and then… started to make my own way over by scooter. I arrived at the hospital at 9 am and at 9:15 the driver called to let me know he had arrived at my house and was waiting for me (ONE HOUR LATE)!!!
At 10: 15 I tried to call dispatch for the return trip

Cheam Taxi is very unprofessional bre booking cabs is worthless because they will still be late to when you booked your cab even if it was a day in advance. Not cab drivers fault it’s the dispatchers, she will tell you there is no cabs available and when you check the app there will be cars available.

RAVE: I was out taking photos of the icicles and ice and I noticed an older gentleman struggling on the ice to make it in to the apartment building. As I was about to go get my boots on, a cab driver who had dropped off a different person, jumped out of his car and helped him right to the door. It was so awesome 🙂 So way to go to this driver from Cheam Taxi! A small act of kindness makes a big difference to that person!

I use Cheam Taxi regularly and they always arrive on time. Cabs are clean and you can feel that they are sanitized properly. Drivers are kind and courteous all the time.

Being new to Chilliwack, and not often using the taxi services I had no idea how good or bad they were, I read the google reports and chose Cheam.
I took the precaution of calling a day ahead to see roughly how much the fare would be and the details on paying by card and time to allow for the car to arrive. The following day, I pre ordered the car, it tuned up within 30 seconds of the time indicated. The estimated cost was out by a country mile, but the service both there and the return were 5 Star rated. Super polite, super business like, and a deffo choice if required again.

The first couple times I started calling Cheam Taxi, they were pretty good with wait times and it was only maybe a 15min wait, tops. But now, the last few times I have called, I have had to wait for half an hour or even more than an hour for a cab to show up. And half the time, they still never do, no matter how many times I call dispatch and ask what's going on. This needs to be dealt with. Either send your drivers to where they need to be when they're called, or just close your business down and stop wasting people's time....

4 hours prior we phoned for a wheelchair taxi to bring us to a medical appointment. It didn't show up. After 10 minutes of waiting we called to ask why and they said it was on its way and would only be a few minutes, which wasn't true since it took another 10 minutes. Although the driver put something on each wheel the wheelchair almost tipped right over during the drive! We arrived at our appointment more than 15 minutes late! Totally unacceptable! We will use the yellow taxis from now on.

Booked ahead of time to get a ride to a wedding and they never sent a driver. Called again and they said driver had multiple trips to complete before they could get to me. Not sure what the point of booking hours ahead of time for a scheduled time if they're just gonna drop the ball like that. Pathetic.

Usually have a great experience except for lastnight. Driver was talking on his phone so missed a couple turn offs on where I was going. I didn’t mind that but the ride that’s usually $7.25 came up to $8.75 so I gave him 2 $5 bills and he goes and tells me he doesn’t have change. Kind of turned me off on taking a cab if it’s that driver again. Lucky my cab fare wasn’t $13 and had to give him a 20.

I would not reccomend this company to anyone since they do not even answer their phone August 29th. I mean how can you run a proper business when you dont even answer your telephone at least Chilliwack taxi answers the phone however my friend will only use your company. My friend who I will not name because she loves this company is in a wheel… chair and had been left stranded twice because this business doesnt answer the telephone just terrible. We had to drive her home and then come back for another friend because this business if we can even call them that could not be bothered to operate

I have been using Taxi Service in Chilliwack for 20 years - switched to Cheam about a year ago as the service from the Company I was using which used to be good became unpleasant too many times - leaving me stranded and not offering any help when needed with heavy groceries etc. I cannot say anything negative about Cheam Taxi since I switched - They
have been excellent - polite - fun - helpful and all the Drivers I have had have been delightful. I have to give special accolades to Jagdeep - an outstanding young man - so polite - so caring and goes above and beyond to make your trip safe and pleasant

As I was dropping off kids at their home yesterday, a Cheam Taxi pulled into the complex. I heard the child scream and turned around, he was fine but obviously had some developmental delays, the dad was trying to help his son get into the house. The taxi was full of groceries and the mom was left to unload on her own while the dad tended to the… son. Seeing the situation, I grabbed the kids and said let’s help with groceries. All the while the taxi driver stood there watching all this happening, doing nothing. As soon as we walked over to help he all of sudden decided to step in and

Biggest scam company ever! Heard many stories about this company extorting money from customers and unfortunately we had a terrible experience ourselves. Not only did we wait an hour for a taxi but we were told the taxi drive didn't want to come "into town" to get us. We were in Harrison and this is the only taxi service. We were also told the company was going to do other calls before picking us up because it was more convenient for them This is exactly why we need Uber. #UberVancouver

Prior to booking with Cheam Taxi. I researched the cost to travel from Promontory Heights to Abbotsford Airport (48km). The operator at Cheam (and Chilliwack Taxi) told me that the cost would be about $80 to $90. I booked a cab with Cheam for 4am. The driver arrived 10 min early which is great! The drive to the airport was smooth (no traffic) except for the fact that he didn't exit on 87 for Clearbrook Road. He instead continued driving much further up towards the Sandman Hotel to exit on Fraser Hwy. The total cost was over $100! Sadly, I can help but think he took the longer route
