The property is located along Hwy 11 north half way between the city of North Bay and the town of Temagami on the west side of the highway with 1000' shoreline on Frenchman's Bay. The bay is part of the Marten River water system with access to over 50 km of shoreline from our docks. The property is also surrounded by crown land offering hundreds of kilometers of old logging trails and forests to explore making us an ideal Northern Adventure.
We operate year round catering to snowmobilers in the winter and atv'ers, boaters, anglers, hunters, campers and vacationers in the spring, summer and fall. The property has 7 rooms in a motel style unit - 5 of the rooms have backdoor access looking out onto the Bay. There are several RV sites along the western shoreline.

Booked the “Glamping” cabin for myself, wife and 2 kids. Arrived to find the loft ladder absolutely unsafe and my 9 year old can’t sit up straight in the loft.
After an 8 hr drive we had to find other accommodations. Owner absolutely refused to refund my money.
This cabin might be acceptable for 2 people but it absolutely not safe for 4.

This guy was not a good representative for the company. Following way to close behind me on hwy 11 tonight then decides to pass me on a double solid line and then proceeds to get half way beside me when he tries to get back into the lane and just about ran me off the road. Your driver's need to rewrite the driver's test before they kill someone. 90km does not mean 110km. I'm not one to brake check someone as it's just as dangerous but I'm sure someone will end up doing it to this driver and I doubt it will end nicely. Be safe out there people.

My wife and I have been going to Marten River for years. In the past we have dined at Rock Pine Restaurant, but never stayed. Being that the place we normally stay was not available this past weekend, we decided to give Rock Pine a shot. Yvette and Gary are amazing hosts and did everything in their power to make us feel welcome and comfortable. From the very moment we arrived I was greeted by name and given directions as to where I could launch my boat and park my trailer as well as given our room key. Great place to stay and eat. We stayed here for 4 nights on a sled trip. Because of the time of year we had the place to ourselves! The fantastic owners looked after us every chance they could. Food was awesome, made in house whenever we got back from a good day of riding. Try the pizza and the rock house junior sandwich, highly recommend. Rooms are good and clean. Lots of space to park both truck, trailer and sleds. Motel is right on the trail and they have premium fuel on site. What more can a sledder ask for??

What an AMAZING couple ( Gerry & Yvette)are that own this motel!! The alternator went on my truck while driving down highway 11. We managed to make it to their parking lot. Gerry came out right away to see if we were ok. I was driving with my 2 sons. He helped me find a tow truck and offered us food even though the Restaurant was closed. They let me charge my phone and allowed us to stay inside intil the truck came. I can't thank them enough for being such WONDERFUL PEOPLE to complete strangers who were in trouble. I would absolutely recommend that you stop for a meal or stay the night at there

The staff is super friendly and are willing to help in a pinch. When my family of 3 boys and husband were stranded at 330am, we got a room and were able to stay past check out to fix the trailer that blew a tire down the road. Not to mention the fantastic food we had for breakfast and all the help and generosity they gave. Great place.

Very helpful and kind people. The pizza was the best I have ever had! They had recommended it as it is new on their menu but they certainly surprised me. Great quality food, great prices and excellent service. We were also very pleased to sit on their patio overlooking the lake while we ate, it's a beautiful perspective on the water. Will go again
