Schell's Market opened on Valentine's Day, 2014, in the Loyalist community of Bath, Ontario. Owned and operated by Warren Schell, it is a family business that breathes new life into an old concept in a bright and friendly venue. Services
You may remember Trugs Home & Garden on Brock Street in downtown Kingston. Or you may recall the magnificent sanctuary flowers at St. George's Anglican Cathedral in Kingston, exceptionally gorgeous floral arrangements in a luscious English style that were created by Trugs for many years. And now, in the curious circle we recognize as 'life', Trugs Floral is located in the Loyalist community of Bath, at Schell's Market!
We cook our own rare roast beef in-house in a traditional oven and we slow roast our 'organic' chicken, stuffed pork and ribs in the rotisserie. We make our own sausage using a number of mouth-watering recipes and we stuff our own chicken breasts and pork loin using produce from our own market shelves.
Schell's Market is pleased to offer Event Catering for your pleasure and convenience. We would appreciate 48 hours notice on all orders if at all possible! When you place your order, kindly advise with respect to food allergies and/or special requests (vegetarian, non-dairy, etc.). Schell's Catering is prepared in a traditionally equipped kitchen on the premises.

We hired a local florist (Janus) from Schells Market in Bath because my daughter had a Mother's Day bouquet made for me from there and she loved the quality of the arrangement. Our daughter knew exactly what she wanted for her bridal bouquet and for her husband's boutonniere and Janus created beautiful arrangements that were perfect. I don't have a picture of just the bridal bouquet without my daughter attached to it but I have included a picture of the boutonniere which is gorgeous and looked so nice against a charcoal grey slim line suit. Janus was fabulous to work with and she stayed in regular

Passing through Bath to Kingston, I stopped at this shop to grab bread. When I got in, I realized they had more items then I expected.
I tried calling my wife to ask if she needed anything else besides bread, but the signal cut out when I went further into the store - I had to go back to the front of the store to make the call to have service. Curious why that would be, but it wasn't helpful.
Yes, I'm not a recognized shopper in this store since I have never been before, but if the staff (which one included what looked to the the manager) had spent less time tracking me in the aisles to see that

Shopping at Schell's is always a pleasant experience. The staff at Schell's market are always helpful and efficient and go out of their way to find something I want. They offer to carry my groceries out to the car for me if they are heavy. Schell's Market carries most everything I need and I am glad I don't have to make the drive into town.

I love this town grocery store. It is one of our favorite places to visit when out in the country. Schell's has an excellent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, and their baked goods section features treats from local bakeries etc. They also have a good selection of health foods. The staff are friendly and the overall vibe is really nice and relaxing.

Nice little market in village of Bath in Loyalist Township along Highway 33. Many unique products that you don't see in the larger grocery chain stores. Fresh bakery goods, full service butcher including deli meats and local cheeses and meats. Friendly personable service, ample free parking. Great stop on a Sunday drive, or pleasant alternate route east or West instead of Highway 2 or the 401.
