Since 1993, ACA has been fixing ships. Known world-over in the industrial marine circles as the 'Barbarians'. We are a mobile operation, used to routine and urgent work in the Halifax Harbour and nearby dockyards and anchorages; on various vessel types (tankers, container ships, tug boats, barges, fishing boats).
Custom manufacturing of obsolete parts is our specialty. We build exact replicas and new design structures in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium, copper-nickle and brass, etc. From bellows to portable wood-fired ovens to dock mounted antennas. We have the shop, tools and skills to build many metal structures from the ground up.
