The room we got was not cleaned prior. The bed sheets were dirty , they didn't vacuum, there was rings of leftover milk from food dishes , handprints all over the shower walls and cupboards, there was no sugar or creamer for the coffee . Dishes were dirty empty dish soap and the towels seemed as though they were only washed in water without soap. The last time we stayed the room was clean and I enjoyed my stay for the price however this time it was very unclean.

It was fine as a place to crash while passing through. Or maybe a good budget jump off point for exploring the area. The rooms were like that 70s show that saw an update in the 90s. However I liked all the big trees all around. Your up the hill from town so but for the highway (which saw not much traffic at night) it's pretty peaceful. The manager was nice. I've seen worse for $79. I'll probably stay again.

Owner used his key and let himself in to our room while we were there. We had just checked in the night before as evacuees from the Winlaw fire. Made my wife feel very unsafe. We appreciate they squeezed us in but the room was grotty. Cigarette burns all over, including the walls. Horrible bathroom with pee stains on the side of the toilet.

This motel is one of the scariest I've see in a long time. The carpets were filthy, it smelled really bad and the other occuppents were a bit sketchy. We quickly packed up the car and headed into town to find a much better place. I want everyone to know this is not a good place. Please DO NOT stay here.

This place looks pretty from the outside. We stayed one night on our way back to Vancouver from Edmonton. It is very, very clean but the interior is also very, very old and the finishes are so worn out that they give the Motel a very seedy appearance. The room was very well equipped, with a kitchenette, a sofa bed, an old TV, cable and wifi. The bed was a (small) double, a bit bouncy but decent size for most teens or regular-sized adults. No good for anyone 250+lbs or over 6' tall. The bathroom is just as well equipped. New toilet and sink, the tub is older and the wall surrounds are very worn

We stayed in 3 different rooms. We had prepaid for a week as the reviews seemed mostly good. There were no refunds so we stuck it out.The first had dirty carpet and peeling wallpaper and an ancient kitchen. The 2nd was slightly better. The third night a decent room came available but we were so turned off by then it was hard to appreciate it. One thing is the beds in all three were good. And the price was better than the big hotels. But you sure get what you pay for.

Two star for a two star motel! I have been welcomed with no smile and from the time I got in the office the clerk was treating me as if I was nothing. They did offer an upgrade room to accommodate my dog which was nice(reason for the extra star), but the clerk unwelcome attitude was the turning point. Then I decided to be honest enough to let them know I did not have much left on the credit card I booked the room with and I asked if they would charge a deposit on my card and if so I would pay with a different card, because I was charged a $200 deposit on my card plus a two night stay for the amount

Very nice motel, stayed here for a month for a course I was doing in Castlegar. Owners are very nice, rooms are a bit dated but very functional. Bed is very soft, which I loved. Nice little bar type fridge with very small freezer and two burner stove. Propane heating system (could be wrong but that's what it seemed like too me) which is very nice during the cold winter nights. Bathroom had some peeling wallpaper and linoleum but didn't bother me. Can be a bit noisy at night as the hill beside the motel has lots of semi traffic and they use their engine brakes as they come down the hill but it never
