Owned and operated by Dr. Karen Regan, The Animal Hospital of High Park has been a fixture of the Junction Community since being founded in 1986 by Drs Petra Burgmann and Don Dawson. We are a full service companion and exotic animal hospital. Our staff are trained in the care of cats and dogs, as well as all pets with fur, feathers and scales.

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Pain Control and Assessment: Our patients are regularly assessed for pain and discomfort on in-patient or out-patient basis.
As alternative therapies have become more popular with pet owners, we have added these modalities to the services we offer. Alternative therapies, which are also referred to as "integrative" or "complementary" therapies, include acupuncture, . We utilize specific, customised anaesthesia protocols for each of our individual patients.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays.
