Island View Appliance was a hassle to deal with and difficult to correspond with. We were left waiting for over a month on a response to a additional follow up repair from the initial visit. As a result, our stovetop was left in disrepair with a return date to fix unknown. From start to finish our repair was a several month ordeal. Stuart gave us a quote that ended up being approximately double the price leaving out the service charge in the initial quote. Not impressed with the service or repair and will not use Island View Appliance again. No accountability on a professional level.

I had a new Ge Profile fridge. It stopped working 3 years after buying it. I was directed to go to the repair shop that would cover the warranty. Wow I was wrong. No parts covered and cost me a fortune. Felt totally ripped of.
So 2 year later it stops working again. This time I decided to call Island veiw appliances. Very good decision.
Stuart arrived and had a peak at my big expensive piece of shiney metal. Cause at this point that is all it was.
Stuart advised me he could fix it but would be costly. He then told me it was time to let this one go as it would probably

I would give this company a 0 if I could. Although Stuart did fix our appliances, he is a liar and crook. Make sure he is very specific with you about his pricing and how much parts are going to cost BEFORE he orders them. He ordered parts for our appliances and he said he would let me know the price before he purchased them. He never called me back and ignored my calls for a week. He then showed up to fix our appliances and charged us an insane amount for the parts without running it by us first. He also charges an insane service fee that he conveniently leaves out when you ask him his pricing

I called to get my fridge repaired. He didn't call back the same day but the following night during dinner at 630pm. About halfway through the conversation of me telling him that we found someone else he hung up on me. I couldn't believe it. So unprofessional. Needless to say I called him back and told him what a thought ( not in a nice way)
