Dr. Julia Mulyar helped me with a last minute tooth extraction, that no one wanted to pull. If it wasn't for Julia I would still be in a lot of pain, with a infected tooth. If you want a good dentist go to Julia. She was kind and told me word for word what she was going to do. Thank you so much Julia!

The Doctors and Staff at Alcona Applewood Dental are Fantastic.
The receptionists, the dental assistants and the Doctors are very pleasant, very professional and very diligent. I had extensive bridge work done which was great, there was a problem with a crown after a month or so and the TEAM at Applewood in Alcona looked after it without hesitation. It is so refreshing to get treated Honestly and VERY fairly.

Phone service is terrible, always too busy to answer or you are put on hold for long periods. If you leave a message rarely you get a call back. Also encountered one of the younger Dentists that seemed to be high and mighty and arrogant claiming he does the best work. Went in for a check up and they ended up doing a cleaning which is fine since I was due shortly but never made me aware they scheduled one. On top of this visit it took 2 hrs for the appt. Keep in mind the dentists at almost all dawson clinics are on payroll so the quality and care is definetly not on a caring personal level but more

Very friendly and thorough. Best dentist I've ever been to. I actually look forward to going to the dentist. I feel confident the work is done right and they answer any questions I have, before and after procedures. I have been to other dentist in Innisfil and was told everything was totally wrong with my teeth, and they were totally wrong! Glad I found Applewood.

Last time I went to Applewood they told me I had 4 cavities that needed to be filled. It didn’t sit right with me as someone who has always had great teeth with strong enamel. Switched my family to a new office and low and behold I don’t have any cavities. New office even showed me my xrays to show me the health of my teeth and Applewood didn’t… even show me anything while claiming I had 4 cavities. Same with my husband. They told him 3 cavities that needed filling. Again he has no cavities. Applewood is a money hungry practice willing to do unnecessary work to make a buck

Good morning! My Husband had some dental work done by Applewood Dental last year. We both have dental coverage through work. My Husband said before the Dentist did any work on his teeth make sure it is covered by Insurance. They proceeded with the work on him. They sent a statement to us saying we owe them $204.00. Now they are threatening to send Our account to a Collection Agency. I will not go back to Applewood Dental ever! The Receptionists aren't very friendly or professional either!

Dr Nari Farshadi so unpleasant and so not professional... I don't have insurance to cover any dental procedures. I came to this place to fix my immediate trouble. X-ray was made in April, tooth was fix… (not the best job was done, it felt sharp at the end and I felt very uncomfortable biting on that tooth... before that I had not pain in my tooth and wanted to fix cosmetic look of it) I paid over $700 at the spot.. Now 2 month later the pain is so bad.. I came in, waited for 30 min after my appointment time (people were coming in after me and was taking in with no waiting). SO called dentist

I have been going to this office for a while now and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a dentist or a new dentist to make a visit here. The staff are all knowledgeable, friendly and they make you feel important. I have Dr. C as my dentist and he is amazing! Karen is my hygienist and always such a joy to go and see. My husband changed over and so did my son, we are very happy with this dental office. Totally endorse this dental office.
