Sportsman Auctions Report

Rosehill Auction Service at Olds Auction Mart conducts one sportsman auction a year, usually the end of February. Our sale has grown into having full, good quality consignments that attract major interest and realize fair market value. We host our sale in our sales ring at the Auction Mart in Olds, Alberta and offer online bidding as a convenience to those that cannot attend in person.

An ok sale. Took purebred rams in- were advertised as "mixed breed" rams by the auctioneer. This cost both of us money (should go off the manifest). And the longer grey haired lady in the office should of been put out to pasture long ago. Never met such a rude woman. Wow- go do something that doesn't involve working with the public if it hurts that much.

Lowest auction fees around. Lots of auctions to choose from. Staff are all relaxed and great to deal with. Viewing and pickup of auction items is relaxed and virtually painless.

Could do a lot better job on the vehicle side of things. It's disorganized and poorly advertised(pics, info, stuff like that) and could be done in a more timely fashion like a vehicle lot ending every 2 min or something.

This is the worst auction I've ever been to in regards to picking up your item. The yard is so busy and unorganized, I've never seen anything like it. I've been here for 2 hours and I've still not been helped!

Helpful staff and efficient process. One of the better auctions around. Just good people. What seals the deal is amazing canteen. Just come here for lunch
