The Old Barn Polished Stone Creations was founded by Ted Hunter in early 2004. Ted was looking for a new challenge after "retiring" from his successful Plumbing and Heating business. While on vacation with his wife Brenda they toured a granite quarry, and Ted became interested in the industry. In 2006 Ted's son Reay joined the team at The Old Barn.
Reay had previously worked in the radio industry, but missed working with his hands and decided to change career paths when the opportunity presented itself. The Old Barn was an active farm until 2003, when Ted purchased the house and barn from his mother and step-father. Reay and Courtney bought the business in the fall of 2015 and have a great crew in the shop and on the road.

The Old Barn is a full service custom countertop fabrication and installation company. That means we are involved with your project from start to finish. We start by making a laser template of your kitchen with the LT-55 XL from Laser Products, ensuring a tight and accurate fit. Next it is back to the shop to hand fabricate your countertop, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship.
Colour and material selection can be done on-site from our stock of 40 Granite colours. We also offer our customers a wide selection of Quartz surfacing including Hanstone, Caesertone and Silestone. The advantage of Granite as a natural product is that every slab is unique. This is why we encourage you to personally select the stone that will be used in your home.

Drove 45 minutes to find out their closed, good thing the put a sign on the door. Call before you go, hours listed were not accurate. Me and the couple I bumped into will not be returning. You could post your week off on the website and save your customers a huge hassle or continue to lose business.
