Over 40 brands, an ber cool selection and really, really nice people that will help you find the perfect pair. I don't know about you, but one of my ears is a bit higher than the other one. Glasses right off the shelf look crooked on me, kinda like I fell asleep with them on and now they are all wonky. That's why it's so nice to have someone fit them perfectly to your face.

Progressive lenses, or multifocals, are lenses that have different zones of vision: the top section for distance and the lower section for reading. As you look down, your eyes enter the progressive corridor where the prescription changes to full reading. Your lenses are now multi-purpose - you can see far (distance), intermediate (computer), and up-close (reading) - without needing to change or remove your glasses.

Great staff and great selection. I have been going there for 20 years. Love that it's a local shop. They don't try to sell you something just to meet company sales quotas, they actually sell you what you need.

I once had an issue with a pair almost a year after I got them. They were amazing, replaced the frames, and were so great about it.

Would totally recommend.

I decided to try Spinnewyn's for my new glasses prescription since it is convenient and they advertise themselves as innovative and professional. Well, they sold me a pair of frames that none of their staff (including the owner and then the manager) could fit properly after several visits; the frames seemed to be warped, not to mention they obstructed my peripheral vision. The manager offered to replace them at no charge - great. Except that, the new pair are faulty also (a different problem from the original), which I discovered the first day I received them, and will need to be repaired
