Arm of Gold campground - Don’t look any further especially if you are taking the ferry to Newfoundland or from
Such a great find close to the ferry to Newfoundland and receiving such welcoming service from John. Great amenities: good wifi, impeccably clean washrooms nicely decorated, showers, laundry, coin car wash, level sites (some overlooking water), a short walking trail, also noticed a food truck on site closed for the season and musical activities located in their barn on site and propane for sale. A very well maintained camping park. Used this park three times and were most satisfied

The owner is a sweetheart and will go out of his way to make sure all is well. Toilets are clean, showers cost 0.50$, book exchange and free movie rental system. 30 amp converters available.
If you're coming at night they will let you settle in and deal with it in the morning. 5 minute drive from the ferry. Will be back!

Such a beautiful camp ground! The bathroom was so clean, it was heated and had music playing. Even had a cute little bench with pillows. You really know when people love what they do! It was one of the best camp grounds we stayed at. We were able to do our laundry as well. We left very impressed and will be happy to stay at this camp ground again.

A little piece of heaven with stunning views! This is a beautiful RV park not far off the highway but minimal traffic noise. The grounds are well maintained and facilities immaculate. Walking trails are groomed and are excellent for walking the dogs. There is a a food truck at the entrance so be sure to try the fish and chips.

The campground is well kept, the washrooms, showers and laundromat are super clean. We get a nice breeze and the view overlooking the Bras d'Or lakes is spectacular. And above all, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't ask for anything better and in our times of Covid, we have space for social distancing. Kudos to the owners.

It was a really lovely campground. The owner was so friendly and accommodating.
The walking trail was lovely, the park is decorated so nicely. The bathrooms were very clean and the playground was nice for the… kids, also had a nice rec room and information center.
Its not very wildernessy but the perfect spot to camp while you explore Cape Breton.

I loved this place, you have everything there except firepits at the slots. Facilities have been clean and the staff was superfriendly, funny and was very fast. Wifi worked okayish. You can refill your propane tank there too!
You can also choose a place with view on the river. A short walk and you can sit nearby the waterfront.

Was there at the end of May before the season stated so had the pick of spots. Beautiful view of the lake. Clean washrooms and laundry. Trails around the park that you can walk and see the lake. There is a food trailer near the entrance that sells sandwiches and such. It is packed in the evenings with locals.
