Having developed a passion for tap and jazz from an early age, Cathy practiced different dance styles and has numerous teaching experience in recreational, competitive and school environments. Cathy has been in the dance industry for over thirty-five years as a teacher and choreographer. She helps people excel and find their own way of moving by placing creativity at the heart of their work.
Although she attaches great importance to the technique, she ensures that they learn to love dance. Throughout the years, her teachers and dancers have become wonderful ambassadors for the community. She shares her values of kindness, respect, perseverance, team spirit and dedication. Services
Cathy's Dance Studio has been in operation for fifteen years and our goal has been and continues to be to promote our love of dance. We offer a wide range of recreational and competitive dance classes for all individuals ages three to adult. Our studio is located in the plaza on the corner of Walker Rd and Foster Ave at 2220B Foster Ave.
For the past three years, we participated in the Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History in memory of Cathy's best friend France's two sisters, who unfortunately passed away from the disease. We would like our dancers and their families to participate in the walk again this year the last Sunday in May.
We pride ourselves on being a dance studio where dancers can come discover their love of dance, learn new styles of dance, create friendships and forge lasting memories for years to come. We have an amazingly diverse staff that exemplify their love for dance and they are motivated to show their passion to all of our dancers.
Inclusivity and accessibility reflects our greatest values as a dance studio. An inclusive and accessible dance studio is one where all people have equal opportunities in order to benefit from attending and participating in a dance class. They will also be able to discover the freedom of movement and self-expression while using their talents, skills and abilities.
The adult dancing program at Cathy's Dance Studio is for everyone, ages 18+. If you have never danced before and always wanted to learn or just want to get back into it, there is a class for you here. There are a number of adult students at all levels and various dance styles in our dance school. I've learned so much about dance, self-confidence and commitment.

My son has been dancing at Cathy's for almost 2 years now. He's been dancing for around 6 years in total. I highly recommend Cathy's dance studio. He tells me that he feels like it's a second family. The staff are very professional and organized. You can tell that they truly care for the well being and enjoyment of each dancer. By far the best dance studio we've ever attended.

A while back, I came from an incredibly toxic studio environment and wanted to quit dance for good. Then I went to Cathy’s and was immediately accepted and welcomed with open arms and a warming environment. Going to Cathy’s has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Both the teachers and students are wildly supportive and kind. I have a love for dance again and it’s because of Cathy and her studio.

Cathy's Dance Studio is one of the most accepting studios a lot of people have come across. They accept everyone; regardless of age, gender and exceptionality. It is truly a great place because both my sisters fell in love with dance at this studio. Also, my mom fell back in love with dance at this studio. The staff is friendly, passionate and radiate positivity.

Cathy's dance studio has been my second home and my second family for the last 8 years. My experiences there have shaped me into the person I am today and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
