The Fergus Tennis Club was established in the early 1920's and has been offering tennis opportunities to the local community for 100 years! When 3 new courts were built at the Community Centre in 1978 and renovation was completed to the 3 original courts in 1986, the Club saw a resurgence throughout the 1990's with a growing membership and improved tennis programs.
Membership not required. Sign up for our 6-week program for adults wanting to learn the game of tennis. Tennis Pro Dave Rowat will show you the strokes and the ropes with lots of entertainment in between. This program will be followed by a house league for beginner members to put all that practice into use.

Knowing your current level of play is important when registering for Junior Clinics and entering the club's Junior Ladder, so you are matched with players your level versus just your age. Start the season right - take advantage of this free session with Pro Dave and determine your level of play. Times: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays - your day / time to be determined at Tennis Evaluation Day (see above).
