Services
The company is Transport Canada approved for structures, maintenance, welding and manufacturing. With our experience and knowledge we have provided custom manufacturing for the aviation industry. Sealand Aviation's Manufacturing Division is capable of custom manufacturing simple parts or assembling sophisticated products.
From Cessna 150's to Beech 1900's, from Hiller UH12B's to Sikorsky S61's, our experienced crews can maintain or repair your aircraft. Whether you come in on floats to Tyee Spit, on wheels to the Campbell River Airport, or land your helicopter at our airport hangar, our staff will be there to assist you.
Some people believe that you can rebuild a plane if you have the data plate and the log books. That's not quite true, but we can repair or replace everything but the data plate. We are experts. We'll take an aircraft, de-construct it carefully and then re-build it with new parts, new skins, new rigging, new wiring, new engines, new props, new avionics, new upholstery, a few modifications, and new paint.
Sealand Aviation's Welding Department specializes in aviation parts repair, overhaul and manufacturing. Our experienced welders are certified for both TIG and gas welding. We can do all the work required, from the design and manufacture phase right through to the issue of an Authorized Release Certificate.
If you carry passengers with a lot of luggage, or carry cargo, you need the Alaska Door. Everybody who has one will tell you how much time they save and how easy it is to load the aircraft. The Alaska Door was originally designed for bush pilots who transport cargo like ATVs, fish boxes and bales of hay - now they are in use everywhere.
