For smooth transitions between floors in adjoining rooms, T-moldings are the answer. They are perfect in doorways and other passageways, provided the floor surfaces are nearly the same thickness. Mercier T-moldings are available in 6 1/2 foot lengths. Placed between cabinetwork and hardwood flooring, quarter round moldings create a sense of continuity.

I would like to thank Trevor and his team of installers for a very professional job as we installed new laminate flooring in our home. We installed about 1000 sq ft. The price point was excellent, as good or better than big box stores, with the close and friendly service that Flooring by Design offers. The installers were amazing. They worked around our home in a couple of days. They always ensured that the house was clean and tidy as they went along. It was a pleasure doing business with this great small business.

We just installed a beautiful vinyl plank floor with cork backing at Flourish Vitality Centre's new location, provided by Trevor Kadlec at Flooring by Design.
We absolutely love it. Trevor provided us with a… great solution for our retrofit. The cork backing provides some give, and provides some warmth, both which are vital for our yoga students.
The flooring looks and feels great. It also designed to stand up to mopping, which is an added bonus.
We're so glad we took Trevor's recommendation. It's like the icing on the cake for our new studio.
