Come in, the water's fine! Darlings Lake is excellent for swimming or snorkeling, with clear waters and many different fresh water fish and other species (like "Darlene the Dragon"!) The campground has 2 playground areas overlooking the lake, making it easy for children to switch between water play and drier activities!
We accept cash, debit and all major credit cards. You can pay by phone using your credit card, or we can make arrangements for online payment. We are pet friendly! We welcome most domestic pets, provided they are contained properly by the owner(s) in their RV, tent or cottage.

What a lovely warm welcome to start our awesome stay!! Our stand was on the lake (as are most of them). It was windy but we parked our van to protect us from it. We got a huge bundle of wood (only $5) and made a bonfire.
The hosts were extremely friendly, as well as some guests, who answered our questions about the town and directed us to the lighthouse not far from there, which is an absolute must-see. Our stay was short but worth a good review. We hope to be back for longer next time.

This is definitely a hidden gem nestled near the ocean and directly on a very beautiful lake. This was our second year where we had the opportunity to gather with family and friends. The cottages had all the amenities and the camp sites offered water and power. The owners always checked in to see if we needed anything. They helped build camp fires at night and supplied wood. Canoes and kayaks were also free to use. Our children enjoyed being 5 minutes from Port Maitland Beach as well as the water raft for swimming and jumping on Lake Breeze. Everyone is super friendly and the rates very reasonably

I would like to say thank you and share our pleasant experience. It was our first time camping with 4 years old daughter and it went very well. Clean area, nice play grounds, helpful staff who would stop by a few times a day to ask how is everything and if anything they can help with. Thank you for making it special to us!

A great experience here. We stayed Wednesday through Monday. Friday night some of the regulars threw a, “burst the bubble” party for lifting some COVID restrictions. The owners were super apologetic and cleared out a few who were gathered there the next night. They even offered for us to stay as long as we wanted, on them. Great location, great owners. We’ll be back.

We stayed at many different cottages throughout the years I seldom give reviews but this place we decided to give a five star review. The owners are very friendly and treated us like family. His daughter gave us a tour around the campground. That is a sure win for us. My kids loved it. My son caught a big bass. Fishing experience was great. My daughter enjoyed the playground and sandpit. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. The cottage we stayed in had air conditioning that was great. We would certainly return in the future. Everybody in the campground was friendly. The owners are very friendly. The campground and cabin are neat and clean. The view of the lake from the deck is beautiful. There are boats canoes and a paddle boat for campers to use. The cabins are close to the road and there is a bit of loud traffic, especially in the mornings. We really enjoyed our stay here.
