Built in 1958, Carrying Place is a friendly, but challenging golf course for all levels of ability. With 125 acres of gently rolling terrain, mature trees, manicured greens and over 11 acres of water hazards, this magnificent golf course measures 6350 yards from the back tees. We are conveniently located in scenic King, Ontario and only minutes from the 400 Highway.
The Golf Shop at Carrying Place is proud to offer an impressive selection of top-brand golf equipment, apparel, shoes and accessories to satisfy any budget. We strive to provide first-class service to our Members and Guests on a daily basis. From big to small, single item to large corporate purchases, our Golf Shop staff are here to assist in any way possible.
We are thrilled to announce that our New Clubhouse is now open! This facility provides all of the amenities that one would expect from a Premier Private Members Golf Club. Our adjoining outdoor terrace overlooks the 18th hole with a breathtaking view of the course. The lower level walk-out includes modern Men's and Ladies'; locker room facilities with an adjoining Member's Lounge and access off the 18th hole.
The Intermediate payment schedule have been implemented to reflect current trends in Private Golf Clubs and to assist Intermediate Members when making the transition from Intermediate to Full Member by making payments more gradual and less of a financial strain. 4 These funds will accumulate until Age 35 at which time they will be applied towards the purchase of a Membership Certificate.
PLEASE NOTE that currently reciprocal play has been put on hold as our clubs have all seen an increase in member play. Our first priority will remain our members and their guests. This will be revisited through the summer. Carrying Place Golf & Country Club members have the opportunity to enjoy golf as a member at many other Golf Clubs as listed below.

Things must have drastically changed in the last 2 weeks from previous reviews.
Was not impressed. Coming from Nova Scotia, where the courses are immaculate and allot cheaper to play, the course was not in good shape. It was not worth $101. If you are going to top dress the greens you should have lower green fees. It was tough to read the greens because of this. Allot of the greens were brown in spots and some tee blocks were rock hard.
The only plus was the great service by the Halfwsy house Server and the veggie burger.
Only way I would come back is at twilight or in the fall, when hopefully
