We have been attending Dubeau auctions for many years, from Ray in the transportation building to Chris now on Hwy. 11. Always a friendly atmosphere, we have acquired many finds. We know that Chris and Shelley will do well at either live or online auctions. Oh oh oh, second of many new items and we have included clothing, housewares, footwear, everything new.

Not at all pleased with Dubeau Auctions. They are disorganized at the best of times but now during Covid they are also disrespectful of their customers and ignoring all public health guidelines. They allott the same two hour time period for pick up whether the auctions has 250 lots or 750 lots. Yesterday (Dec 12/21) during pick up NONE of their staff were wearing masks. Four of their staff handled my lots rather than one. They insisted on following me to my vehicle when I asked them not to. There is no room for a line up to stay 6 feet apart. Other local auction houses have figured out strict protocols

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
I was quite willing to bid on items listed in the Christmas auction until I received no response to two emails that i had sent and two phone messages I left. I don't know why anyone would consign to their auction site or bid. Complete amateurs as far as I can tell.

Twice I have used the feature on the website to ask more about an item being auctioned. And twice I was ignored. Once about a 1967 coin set in April of this year, and again tonight about a bird cage. I did not bid on these items as a result, which means less money for the consignor. I did pick up items from them at an auction last October, and did very well at it, and they were a great help at pickup. Better communication would be nice.

I have been coming to Dubeau Auctions for over 20 years. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere, bidding, and good service that Shelley, and Chris (and before that their father Ray provided) . I always look forward to going whenever I am town. Over the years I have purchased many of my home's furnishings from Chris's auctions. I have found many bargains, and many treasures. I have been to several other auctions over the years , and would rate this as my favourite auction place !!!

Helpful patient staff who always seem to be cheerful and smiling despite the number of long days and hours they put in. Questions are answered when asked and they follow up efficiently. Shelley and Chris are a wealth of knowledge. The auctions are eclectic and interesting. There's always so much to see and learn. You never know what you might find there.
