Wow! This place was exceptional ! We ordered from the countylicious autumn 2020 menu. For appetizers we had the crab cakes and duck confit spring rolls, mains we had ravioli and beef tenderloin and dessert we had the chocolate pots de creme and bread pudding. Everything was sensational and the value was incredible. Service was attentive the entire time. Overall we had an amazing time here and I would definitely return. Highly recommend !

Great food and good service! Everything is made fresh.
We started with the herbed mushroom risotto which was delightfully creamy. The server forgot to mention it had a spicy oil drizzle but we enjoyed the heated surprise.
We also shared the charcuterie board that had house made chicken liver pate. Paired with the grainy mustard, it was lovely.
We both opted for the entree special which was a rack of lamb crusted with rosemary and olive on a bed of goat cheese grits and a pomegranate reduction. It was SO good! It had chard heirloom carrots that were to die for!
We each had a glass of the

I want to share with everyone about this fantastic restaurant, last evening we went in for dinner. (I am not a tourist, but a part time resident of Wellington) my wife, mother in law and myself went for steak ALWAYS FANTASTIC HERE, last night was wee glitch and was over prepared and not grossly just overcooked, I shared with the server but preempted by saying that I was absolutely not wanting anything for free, was taking what we had left on plates home to use in a breakfast scramble. It was just a heads up for the kitchen. The manager actually took the wine off our bill, was exceptionally nice

Food is decent. The service was not great to say the least . We felt quite rushed the whole time. They made us feel bad for bringing our baby. Our waitress was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The manager came over and told us they had no where for us to put him that "wouldn't mess with the decor". I have actually never written a yelp review because I've never felt the need but in this case something needs to be said.
We were a group of 8 who have all worked in the service industry at one point or another and would have loved to leave generous tips but I honestly wouldn&apos

Solid dining experience in the heart of PEC. Had a nice dinner after being able to secure a late reservation. Good selection of PEC wines by the bottle and glass
Nice appetizers - very large portions. I had cabrese salad which was well executed. Fresh tomatoes, nice mozzarella (but harder than I like) and properly seasoned. Partner had a large crab cake with spicy dip
Fresh pickerel fillet was perfectly executed. Crisp but not over done. A tad too much pepper in the seasoning made it a bit 'hot'. Rest of dish was fine - rice, some over cooked beans, but nothing to write home about

Nice little spot in Wellington with a covered and screened in patio. We stopped for lunch on a Sunday and it was very quiet.
Highlight for me was the paté appetizer. We also had the soup du jour (cream of mushroom), crab cake main and chicken club. I found that they could have added a bit of salt to all dishes but the paté.

The ambiance, food and service are all top notch. As a casual bistro, this lunch and dinner spot has a simple but tasty menu! Soups and sandwiches as well as features are awesome. We visited on a quiet, cloudy mid-Winter day and the restaurant was not that busy. Not sure what the service is like on a busy day, but we were treated very well. Lots of parking and a close walk to the water.
Well done!

Decent lunch experience over the long weekend. Service was relatively prompt.
We ordered the Niçoise salad with seared tuna and the burger on ciabatta bun. The salad was nicely plated, but was a little bit bland, and the the burger was tasty but came with few toppings, but the ciabatta bun really worked.

Great vegetarian option - I had the daily feature appetizer (goat cheese tart with green salad) which was a good balance of rich and fresh, followed by the african peanut stew which was hearty (but could've used a bit of extra salt or spice) and bread pudding to top it off
Ambiance is definitely nicer but not overdone or pretentious.
Definitely recommend visiting! Do make a reservation!

My wife and I were celebrating a birthday in PEC. Just a short walk away from the Drake hotel, food and service were excellent. Great intimate ambiance, good wine list, and terrific food.
We started with a beat tart/salad, and their daily soup, both were delicious. For mains we had the pork chop and the steak frites, both were cooked to perfection and paired nicely with our county wine.
Desert was the least satisfying part of the meal. We got the creme brule, which was just okay.
Overall highly recommend this great restaurant in PEC.

My SO and I had an incredible and romantic dinner here last Thursday.
The decor is beautiful and we were seated well away from any drafts. We started with the charcuterie board which was balanced perfectly and had so many different components. And they brought extra crostini once they saw we were done.
For dinner we had the seafood pasta and the pork loin. The seafood pasta was incredible! Everything was inventive yet classic...most of all, delicious.
It is a bit on the pricier side (for me) but worth it if you have the cash or are enjoying a special occasion.
Cannot wait to come here again

After reading great reviews on this little charm. We decided to give it a try. Enjoyed our seating on the patio as the weather was nice. After being over intrigued by the ambiance and the service, the food was kind of a let down. My Pasta was too tomatoey and kind of tasted like something out of a can, the shrimp and scallops were flavorless and the clams were nonexistent. Maybe my over expectation from the reviews but just didn't satisfy my taste buds this time.

Are we ever glad that our first choice wasn't serving brunch by the time we got there! If not for them, we wouldn't have tried East & Main.
We were greeted warmly right away. Seated right away and asked whether a high chair was needed (Answer: No).
Kid was starving. Server literally (yes, literally) ran to the back and got a basket of fresh bread for him. WOW. Who pays this much attention to a 4 year old? We were grateful.
Drinks were ordered - water for me, husband had a beer and kid had orange juice (this was from a bottle at the bar not freshly squeezed). Later on, our server

Wow - who knew finding a place to eat lunch in Trenton / Belleville / Prince Edward County areas could be so challenging?
Our first choice (which got excellent Yelper feedback) didn't open until 4p on a Saturday. I know, I know, I should have checked the hours. Lesson learned.
Oh well - as always, went back to Yelp for ideas. Apparantly lunch is not a popular meal to serve in the area at the better rated restaurants.
Finally settled on this site, which was a bit of a drive from where we were - however, it was a beautiful day for a drive through The County, so off we went.
