Marquis Flower Shop started in the Marquis Hotel building in 1931 and later moved to 6th street downtown when the hotel building was closed down. From there the business moved to it's current location near the corner of 3rd avenue and 9th street south. We believe we are the last known business in the City of Lethbridge that is still in operation under the Marquis legacy.

It was 1931 when Marquis Flower Shop opened for business to serve customers in Lethbridge and Southern Alberta. Since our beginning, and to this day, Marquis Flower Shop has recognized the importance of offering our customers quality floral products at a fair price and in a reasonable amount of time.

I visited the Marquis Flower Shop last week to pick up three arrangements for family I was visiting. The shop assistant was exceptionally helpful and made up three bouquets within my designated budget. I was extremely impressed at her efficiency as she could no doubt sense my urgency. I previously rated this shop 1 star by accident through the Google Maps app, I believe this must have been a 'pocket rating' and by no way was representative of my experience. 5 star service and flowers! Apologies for any confusion.

I was disappointed in the fact that my roses (for a small wedding) didn't even last an hour before a few of them were turning brown on the outer petals and then during the ceremony (about 1.5 hours with them out of a cooler) one of them actually broke and fell out of my bouquet. I've had better experience in the past but I was extremely disappointed with my wedding flowers being so bad.
