Bowling is a great activity for all ages! Our modern bowling centre has kid friendly bumper bowling lanes and plenty of lightweight bowling balls (10Pin bowling balls down to 6 lbs, and 5pin bowling balls down to 3lb8oz!) and small shoes for kids.
Are you looking for somewhere to head for "Guys Night" or "Girls Night" during the cooler months? Do you have a ball team or golf group you want to keep getting together during the fall and winter? Check out some of our leagues! We have leagues for everyone and every skill level. Lots of groups are now forming their own bowling leagues - why not you?
Every day before 9pm we keep the volume low for for families, schools and daycare groups. We also keep the music family appropriate. We can put up the bumpers to keep kids bowling balls on the lane and help their chances of hitting the pins! After 9pm, we turn the music up and the lights down even lower for a great nightclub atmosphere!
At Academy Lanes West we host lots of awesome birthday parties, great corporate parties and cash generating fundraisers every year! We understand that home birthday events are a lot of work: all the preparation, decorating, cooking, entertaining during the party, and then clean up after the guests leave!

This clean, fun, kid-friendly place exceeded our expectations! I booked a Saturday morning party for my 8 year old about two weeks in advance and I think it was the best venue we've ever used for a kid's birthday party. The youthful staff were friendly, accommodating, organized and helpful. I loved that the new "high tech" bowling has all the kids' names up on a digital screen and keeps score for them! The facility was spotless from the bathrooms to the lanes to the party area. They provided the pizza made right on site and switched the beverages from pop to juice boxes
