Hey guys. Just wanted to give a shout out to ear gear. They have an awesome product. Its spandex placed over the hearing aid or cochlear implant. It can be BTE, RIC, ITE. Its can come corded meaning they both have a cord leading to a clip that you clip on your shirt, it can come with a small o ring that you slip in glasses. it can come with both… of those features or none of those feature. They are a bit more expensive then say a cheap ear loop maintainer but the quality of their product is nice, the clip is really hard to come off but easy if you just unclip it, its washable. They do help keep the hearing aids dryer. Usually on hot days I couldn't wear my hearing aids, I would short out batteries, almost as fast as I could replace them. Now, I can wear them most of the time. I also found that if I slip the temple of my glasses through them, my hearing aids and glasses fit better together, plus I don't loose my hearing aids.

I love my ear gear! I believe they have saved me from expensive repairs over the years. I have put them through the wringer, so to speak. Sweat, rain, dirt...all have not affected my hearing aids since I started wearing them. I believe I have most of the colors. As an adult (not grown up yet!) I like the brighter colors.

My son got his hearing aids when he was 2 years old. He did not like wearing them he would take them out and throw them constantly. We got him his ear gear and he stopped taking them out and throwing them. I love the ear gear and have told many people how great they ear for him. my son is now 10 years old and we still used the ear gear he loves the colors and now his pappy has a few sets too. They last a long time.

The quality of the corded cochear ear gear since 2016 has substantially declined. They apparently break at the cover much faster as I still have two from 2013 and 2014 that my child still wears. I can't place future orders with any confidence as I have brought this to their attention and they deny it.
