As a young boy, Jason, founder of Heronwood Cabinetry, worked alongside his grandfather and father and learned the value of hard work, attention to detail and creativity, and the belief that you can build anything you put your mind to. Born and raised on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Jason could think of no better place to set roots for his own family.
After initially pursuing engineering, Jason decided to follow his childhood passion, use the skills he learned from his grandfather and father and embarked on a life changing career move into woodworking. After years of working with local millwork companies, Jason and his wife Ann-Marie dreamed of creating a client-focused, quality custom cabinetry business of their own.

Beware. The finish does not hold up in the kitchen!.. "Only clean with dish soap and water"!! "You can not use any household cleaner"!! This is what I did… Cupboard door has been resprayed three times!! The Matt finish does not stay Matt!! Anywhere there has been contact with any cooking oil or or splatter around the stove, the finish turns shinny. I have been trying to get resolved, for almost a year now.. I kept getting pushback or no response!! I got my contractor to talk to them as well. ( He said that these brand new cupboards look like they are 30 years old!). I finally got an email last

I highly recommend this company. I needed a custom made display cabinet for my medical aesthetic practice and called Jay from Heronwood on the advice of a colleague. He was prompt, professional and helped me with the design process. The cabinet was delivered in a timely manner to my office and installed.....it is GORGEOUS and showcases product in just the way I had imagined. It turned out even better than I had had hoped for and the price was very reasonable for such a beautiful piece. I have seen photos of some of their other work and if we redo any of the cabinets in our house in the future I
