Firetech is a family-owned business that started with a guy in a truck sweeping chimneys in the Woodstock area in 2004. Greg Schell is the voice and face of Firetech. He is a second generation technician, salesman and inspector in the fireplace industry. Greg is currently one of the highest accredited W.E.T.T. certified technician and chimney sweeps in Ontario.
Greg started installation and services at the age of twelve. Fireplaces were a major part of his growing years. After a few years as a diesel mechanic, and after the birth of his first child, he decided to go back to work for his parents in their fireplace store in Woodstock. Over the next couple of years, Greg gained all the necessary certification for wood, gas and pellet products.
