Services
Sheldon is the owner of Parsons Pharmacy and a full time Pharmacist. He was born and raised in Toronto, and after graduating from The University of Alberta in 2005 he was a pharmacist owner of a Shopper's Drug Mart in Calgary. He became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2008, he is injection certified, and received his Additional Prescribing Authorization in 2013.
We do free delivery within the Red Deer city limits. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible but can usually accommodate reasonably last minute requests as well. A prescribing pharmacist is someone who has been granted privileges by the Alberta College of Pharmacists to offer initial access prescribing, meaning they can write prescriptions for medications without you having to see a physician or go to a walk-in clinic.

Sheldon and Staff always go the extra mile for us as well. Very friendly, helpful and professional! The best pharmacy that I ever had to deal with for me and my family . I always refer clients with high needs to Sheldon and his team and they have the best care for all, especially for my mom with high needs and language barrier. Never really cared to consider where my prescriptions were filled - been using a big box store for years to fill because it was convenient... but now I wouldn't trade the personalized and friendly service I get from Parsons! Called one day on the off chance they had some hard to find medication and not only did they have some in stock and ready to go, but Sheldon also transferred all my husband's RXs over, filled them, AND was able to get me better pricing than that silly big box store. From the moment I took my parents in the door, they were treated so well. Moving from another town we were nervous about finding a new pharmacist. We feel so well looked after here and they caught a mistake the doctor made on prescribing that could have really harmed my mother. I highly recommend to everyone.
