We opened in 2005 and started out purely as a Custom Picture Framing shop. Since then we have connected with many talented local artists and Canadian companies to offer you great one of a kind artwork!

We renovated our space in 2010 allowing us to expand, update and include more Artists and Canadian home Decor. At Surrounding Memories we will work with you to find the right frame that enhances your artwork and Decor. Whether you need your piece fully framed, updated, or maybe just a new mat, glass or refitting, we're here to help.

Michelle and Surrounding Memories did an amazing job with framing my painting from Brazil. She has great attention to details and was very patient since my first day in store when I was deciding for the right frame style. Also, she made sure to include special hanging hooks since my painting is very wide. I had a great experience!

Ok, I bought a nutcracker, cost $5.00 which was fine but got home and saw a big crack. Over priced for that. It was fun to walk through and look at everything. I will go back but will look more close next time.
