At The Speak Easy Cafe, we offer daily homemade lunch specials and a vast breakfast menu fit for any craving you might have! We offer many choices and options of specialty omelettes, as well as serving up the best eggs benedict that Peterborough has to offer!

Some of our lunch items include burgers, wraps, soups, salads, hot sandwiches, and our famous Toasted Western Sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, and a choice of one of our fun sides like our tasty lattice fries, dollar chips, onion rings, or the good old french fries. Every Friday is Fish and Frings, a half order of fries, and a half order of onion rings, served alongside two pieces of haddock and homemade coleslaw.

One of the best breakfasts in town. Located right in the center of downtown, near everything. I had the scrumtious meet lovers omelette, which is LOADED with cheese, bacon, and sausage. Paired with the yummy dollar chips.
Dining area was also recently renovated, with a cozy 1920s gangster-esque atmosphere. That lives up to the restaurants namd.

My family's favourite breakfast place, if you have not been you are missing out. The staff are amazing and so friendly. Great vegetarian options. I can't say enough good things.
Make sure you order hollandaise sauce - you won't regret it.

We discovered this randomly, as we were looking for a place for an early lunch. I had the feta cheese quesadilla, which was a first. As somebody that loves cheese, I loved it. My wife got a custom made vegetarian club sandwich. We also got a huge basket of wafflecut fries that were super crispy. Definitely not something you can have everyday, but it was a nice meal.

Looking for a cute place for brunch out of town? The Speak Easy Cafe has almost every fast food you could think of. The waitress was super friendly and responded well to any questions. This picture shows my order: half a quesadilla with fries. The servings were large and filling. Overall, it was a cute and humble restaurant.

Nice spot. Service is good, they're very friendly. Breakfast is tasty. The 'dollar chips' are great, they're tasty and not greasy. Coffee is very good. Toasts are also good, and I enjoyed their peameal bacon too.
I'll be definitely coming back.

Had to ask to be served after waiting too long. Food was cold, ham was so tough that I couldn't eat it. Prices were good though for the house special. Coffee good.
