Raised in the small northern town of Kitimat, BC, I developed a deep appreciation for this beautiful world: the mountains, the oceans and the rivers that surrounded me. Eventually, circumstance (and love) brought me to beautiful Vancouver. After a 4-year stay, my husband and I were fortunate enough to move to Quesnel where we raised our two sons and lived for 34 years.
Our desire to experience the vast beauty of the Cariboo region, led us to camping and exploring the back roads looking for the perfect fishing hole. In my early career I worked in office administration, but once my husband and I had children, I chose to stay home. During this time, I studied, became certified and opened my own home business: an out-of-school day care centre.
