Every business has a beginning, and ours started in 2015 when Tip Top first opened its doors. It all began when Tip Top founders's passion and combined 10+ years of experience led to the creation of something new; different. We are proudly born and raised in Calgary, growing up in Calgary's Northeast and always calling it home led us to start our vision right here at home.

Awesome place! This is the only place in where I can take son to get his hair cut done right. The woman that cuts my son's hair there is nice and is very professional and well experienced. I would recommend everyone to her and she'll make your hair look really nice guaranteed. Please make sure to tip them well in support of our hard working local barbers.

To be honest , Prices may be a bit high but the cuts are wonderful , They say you must have long hair to pull off a pompadour but at the time I had very short hair and the barber there really pulled of the look , VERY CLEAN taper fade and Slick Sideburns and a nice small foward pomp ! I was IMPRESSED , Definitely worth it , they sure do take there time

I really do not understand any of the lower ratings. Just a bunch of entitled babies if you ask me. I've been going here for a few months now and I've loved me haircut every time. They pay very close attention to you, and the environment is great. I am use to the "high" prices because I like to go to barbershops that treat you well, and I must say that this shop is just that.

I travel frequently and usually get my haircut while on the road. I was staying near Calgary International Airport and decided to take an Uber and check out Tip Top Barbershop. I was greeted by two barbers who were working away and told me someone would be with me. To my surprise, Alex, the owner appears and begins working away on my cut.
Alex runs a great shop. He was very detailed and took his time with my cut. He used a razor to clean up the edges of my head and neck and trimmed my beard to perfection. To finish off, Alex spritzed some after shave on my face and head which was a nice touch

Terrible barber shop.
The only reason this place has good reviews is probably because the employees have rated this place.
I came here because I wanted to try another barber shop (My mistake, go to Uptown Barbers instead!). And it was terrible. I walk in and ask if I can get a haircut, they say sure and they let the lady there cut my hair. The two men wanted to leave halfway through and asked her if it was okay to leave her there, as if she wasn't even an employee.
The haircut was rushed and awful. They didn't even use scissors on top! Plus it lasted like 10 minutes...
Terrible.
