I have dealt with Red Deer lighting on two occasions. First time 3 years ago for renovations and I just used them to supply me with all light fixtures for a new home build. On both occasions I was satisfied with the customer service and input I received from the Professionals at Red Deer Lighting. I would recommend using them for any basic or advanced lighting needs.

Received fabulous service from Red Deer Lighting! I was completing a small renovation that needed new lights. I thought it would be easy to pick some out at a big box store. I stood for hours looking! Finally headed to Red Deer Lighting feeling confused, they asked the size of my island, recommended the sizes best suited for my space and ceiling height and even showed me all my options for light bulb colours and how each of them would look in my new products. I honestly haven’t had service this good in a really long time.

Fifth times to this store , each time received no customer service Today , the same,we
Had to ask for help.
Clerk unable to ask any questions regarding simple track lighting for a kitchen Reno.
Perhaps we were not going to spend enough $ in their store. Seems that the only customers receiving help we those sent from contractors for new builds. Will not be recommending to anyone and we be telling our contractor and electrical company that refer us.

When I walked around and looked at the prices, my first thought was to run. However, a lot of their selection is fairly unique (unlikely to find a lot of that selection anywhere else in town). And some big name designer brands, which of course is important to those who are looking for that sort of thing.
I was looking for specific items, and not only did I get what I wanted, but I got the advice needed for anything else that came up each time I went in there. And most recently, I had a question about a bulb (not a cheap one) on a fixture that kept having to be replaced. Without me saying anything
