David founded Pier 21 Asset Management in 2005. In addition to ensuring the needs of the firm's clients are met, he seeks out exclusive relationships with a few of the globe's most unique and skillful investment managers. Prior to founding Pier 21, he held positions of First Vice President, Associate Chief Investment Officer and head of Products and Marketing for a large institutional investment manager.
He has over 30 years of executive experience in the Canadian financial marketplace and is also the firm's Chief Compliance Officer. He oversees the firm's institutional pooled funds, investment operations and marketing. He also manages relationships with many of the firm's institutional clients. For 17 years, ric worked within multiple teams responsible for delivering asset management services to a broad range of retail and institutional clients.
