Our mill shop capabilities are second to none, with over 25,000 square feet of floor space between our 3 mill shops, we produce many of the highest quality stair part components in today's market place. We make stair parts to meet and exceed your needs from many stair tread types and many square / box newel post types we are very confident that we can handle the task at hand.
With our own in house Spray Finishing Shop ( Scotia Finishing Limited ) we were able to dedicate 1,000 sq.ft. to a state-of-the-art spray booth shop. This sets us apart from our competitors and rounds out our production capabilities. This custom built spray shop gives us the ability to turn out high end, furniture grade, pre-finished stair parts.

After another stair railing company caused issues and supplied the wrong items. We spoke with Perry and he was absolutely fantastic! He was able to get us out of a jam and supply us with enough pieces to finish my railing! I cannot speak highly enough about the fantastic service. Would absolutely recommend dealing with Perry and his team - even from half way across Canada!

I’ve had such a great experience with Scotia Stairs , their website is full of great information for the do it yourselfer and made it very easy to replace my dated wooden spindles with wrought iron ones. Now my neighbour wants me to replace his too!! So happy with the end result. The Shipment came in two days which was great. I highly recommend Scotia Stairs , you will not be disappointed.

Scotia stairs was recommended to me by my brother in law. Larry the owner and Craig in ON were wonderful to deal with. Part of my order was on back order and everything was communicated to me - there was no waiting or wondering where things were. Delivery was quick. Order was correct. Just waiting for them to be installed by the carpenter.

I spent a lot of time researching where I could buy what I needed to redo our staircase to match the tropical Walnut hardwood floors I installed. I was expecting Walnut stairs, railings and moldings would be crazy expensive so I decided to do the work myself to save some money. When I found Scotia Stairs, I contacted them with my intentions and they were extremely helpful. First thing was to suggest using Birch instead of Walnut, Birch is something like three times cheaper than Walnut. Larry assured me they could stain the Birch to match our Walnut floor very closely.
