All of our rooms have an outstanding view of beautiful Kootenay Lake and its surrounding mountains, and all have access to our lawn and BBQ area. Our family unit is a self-contained suite, that comes with a fully equipped kitchen, including a full size fridge/freezer, electric stove, microwave, lots of counter space, complimentary coffee, drip coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans and dishes.

Eat-see-do Report

While our units come with a kitchen and there is always our wonderful BBQ for making something special, there are those times when it's nice to have someone else do the cooking. Located just a two minute walk from Ainsworth Motel are the naturally hot Ainsworth Hot Springs, a great place to go for a relaxing dip no matter what the time of year.

Glen the owner is a true gentleman. He was so nice to our cycling group. We all loved him. Beautiful location, great coffee next door, a must visit in the area.

A very mouldy stench a soon as I went in office to pay. Had no where else to stay. Ended up leaving in middle of the night & slept in my car. What a waste of $145.00

This is a fantastic motel. The rooms are individual trailer types, with a kitchenette. Beautiful scenery and close to many great adventuring places. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful friendly hosts that made us feel so welcome. Great with pets my animals loved the stay. Beautiful views amazing yard. Soooo clean everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

Loved it! Everything we needed was in the room. The front lawn with all the seating was fabulous. Gorgeous views, comfy room, quiet, gracious hosts, even games in the lobby you could take to play!

Second time returning here. 1min walk to the Ainsworth Hot Springs. Clean rooms :) Quite old, but convenient and scenic. Really kind owners...front desk even called us to let us know our drive up from Vancouver might be impacted by a landslide. So sweet!

I have stayed here twice and definitely would come back! I love the kitchenette and the outside patio and BBQ ! Beautiful views, clean, and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. A great place to stay and still be able walk to the hot springs for a soak.

Very clean. Great sitting/gathering area outside with BBQs, chairs, and couches. Gorgeous view of the water and only a 2 minute walk from the resort. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Would love to come back again next year.
