Twice-daily brushings and regular flossing are excellent for maintenance between office visits, but a healthy mouth and beautiful smile require routine general and preventative care to stay that way. Our practice offers general care that includes regular oral examinations and cleanings.

If the thought of unsightly metal fillings leaves you less than thrilled, you'll be happy to know that dental science has made many advances since metal fillings were invented! Today, if you need a cavity filled, Dr. Dong Li can use a strong composite resin that looks much more natural and is much less noticeable than a metal filling.
In the center of each tooth in our mouth is dental pulp, which supplies our tooth with nutrients and nerves. If something happens to that dental pulp-it is injured, infected, or is damaged in some other way-then the nerve within the pulp may die, eventually causing the tooth to die. Dentists will recommend root canal therapy as a way to save teeth that have received damage to their dental pulp and nerve.
Crowns, or dental caps, are used for both restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Crowns can help enhance the visual appearance of discolored, chipped or otherwise traumatized teeth, and can also be used to rebuild teeth that have suffered decay, breaks, or other issues that have caused them to lose strength.

Dr. Li and his nurses are awesome! Everytime my kids and myself have appointments we recieve the best care from everyone.
His work is also awesome and I love the way they treat the kids. My kids didn’t use to like to go to dentists because of how scared they would be from fillings! Today my 4-year old daughter had 2 fillings done without a single cry! She was brave but also Dr. Li is awesome with the little ones. Being a parent of 2 kids himself, he knows how to take away the fear some kids might have from doctors and dentists. :)

My dentist, that I had since I was young retired a few years ago and I have tried a number of dentists in the area to try to find one I was satisfied with and didn't have very good luck until I found Dr. Li. On my first visit we discussed what needed to be done to repair a significant number of teeth that needed work and came up with a plan to have the work done in stages. Dr. Li suggested that it would be better to have my teeth cleaned prior to doing any repair so that he could better establish the extent of the damage. I had my teeth cleaned with Sue and they were sparkling when I left. He repaired

I have been going to Dr. Li's office for about 12 years now, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Beyond Dr. Li, all of the staff there is outstanding - Angela, Kelly, Laura and all of the other staff. They are friendly and work at preserving your teeth rather than using your mouth as a source of income. This is important to me because I am retired and do not have dental insurance. I switched to this team initially for a second opinion after my previous dental outfit recommended an extraction and implant in 2013. To this day (over 8 years later!) I still have that "targeted" tooth and Dr Li has been "keeping an eye on it" successfully. I highly recommend Dr. Dong Li Family Dentistry Brockville.

I was trying to decide what I could write that would do Dr. Dong Li justice, because I could not find the best way to dexpress how grateful I am to Him and his staff, for their care, concern and commitment to do their absolute best for their clients. A recent event for me was a good example when Dr. Li, performed serious search for the proper… screw to fit my implant that took him on a path, including having to acquire information from my retired dentists in Quebec and finally the surgeon who performed the procedure. Since moving to Brockville 7years ago Dr. Li has been our family dentist. Recently one of our daughters needed a baby tooth extracted. I could confidently tell her that Dr Li was the only Dentist I would allow to extract a tooth and that he AND his staff were caring, respectful and compassionate.
