In these events you will arrange with your opposition a mutually agreeable time to play your games. Entry fee is $5.00 per event and there will be prize money paid out at the end. Sign up for all of them as an individual. We will draw teams for the 100 Up and Australian Pairs. Registration for all of the above events/tournaments will be available through Eventbrite, or by contacting Andrew Fitzgerald or Pat McKenzie (Games Chairs).

The club has many certified coaches to ensure that you have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to start bowling quickly and enjoy your time spent on the greens. Coaching is started after Orientation Day at the beginning of the season. There is an initial Coaching cost of $30, which covers the lessons during the first month, and is applied to the club fees ($150 for 2021) when you join.
Pony Night is held every Tuesday to provide an evening of fun amongst peers for new bowlers who are learning the sport of lawn bowls. Members who have been bowling for only 3 seasons or less are encouraged to come out to Pony Night and play a game, be social and make some connections.

The current club roster for 2021 is 231 members, making the club one of the largest Lawn Bowling Clubs in Canada. The membership fully runs and operates the club. It is our dedicated volunteers who makes this club one of the best in the country. It is a sport of age and gender equality as the ladies compete side by side with and against the gents.
The North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club has an active Junior program. The Juniors, youngsters ages 8 to 18 years old, train every Tuesday, starting in June until mid August. Practice time is 5:30 p.m. to 6:30, finishing early enough to clean up and vacate the greens for Pony Night.
As Juniors skills develop, players may advance to playing in the Pony Night League, practicing with the newer adult bowlers (under coaches supervision) Pony practice ends around 9:00 p.m.Throughout the season, the Juniors may play in various tournaments in the club and in the Greater Vancouver District area.

Due to the rain we ended the tournament early before taking pictures of the winners. Pictured above with Harry Carruthers (left) and Bruce Murray (right) is Judy Savage, CEO and President of the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, who accepted our membership donations totalling $9,250 which will go towards the purchase of a new MRI.
