Pyramid Stables is a full service hunter/jumper facility located at Lantzville just outside Nanaimo on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC. Established in 1993 in Nanoose Bay, we completed and moved to our brand new facility on 25 acres adjacent to Winchelsea View golf course in 2010. Jennifer Payne, owner/proprietor, is a well-known Equine Canada Certified Hunter/Jumper coach with over 20 years of coaching experience.
She has shown extensively both on and off Vancouver Island in both Hunter and Jumper disciplines. Howie Thomas, co-owner/proprietor, is a well-known and respected farrier and their daughter, Cherish Thomas, was an assistant coach from age 16 to 18, at 19 she moved into a full time position as a Pyramid Stables riding instructor.

Services
Offered for any skill level or age from beginner to advanced, young children to seniors. Monthly classes are scheduled on the basis of four lessons per month, eight lessons per month, drop-in appointment, or even a custom schedule to fit your busy life! We occasionally offer stable management programs and include stable management components in our Riding Camps.
Riding lessons are offered for any skill level or age from beginner to advanced, young children to seniors. Classes are offered in small groups of not more than 4 riders with similar skill levels to enhance the fun of learning. Lessons are approximately one hour long. Riders also learn and practice tacking up and untacking, horse grooming and general horse and tack care.
Pyramid Stables offers camps for beginner and Novice/Intermediate skill levels. In addition to your riding lesson on a safe, well trained school horse or your own horse, you will learn about horse care and take part in fun activities such as horse related games or crafts or perhaps go on a trail ride!
Cherish believes that proper nutrition and fitness are the key element to health, fitness levels and competition success. Humans are such amazing creatures. We just need to learn to take better care of our bodies. Since fitness and nutrition are so important, it is imperative that we find out how to eat healthy and stay fit.
