The Southampton Tennis Club - fortified by generations of friendships, volunteerism and fun - fosters a life-long love of the game in a welcoming environment, encouraging players of all ages and skill-levels to be both good players and good sports.

The Southampton Tennis Club will attract players to the best summer tennis experience by continuously improving our programs to appeal to members and by keeping membership broadly accessible while ensuring our financial sustainability.In keeping with the principles of our mission statement, we encourage you to review the Basic Rules of Tennis and Court Conduct.
Services
Along with your 2021 membership, each person in your household needs to complete our Waiver & Declaration. Parents/guardians need to complete one for each child 18 years of age and under. Guests will be charged a fee of $10/day for juniors (18 and under) and $15/day for adults to a maximum of three days.
Whether you're a beginner, a seasoned player or somewhere in between, our goal is to help you become the best player you want to be while having a lot of fun along the way. Group lessons by age and skill-level are included with membership but we also have fee-based private lessons for those who want to give their tennis game some extra attention.
Group lessons are included in your membership and they are structured around the age and skill-level of the children. A guest fee of $10/day is required for non-members. It's first come, first served but if you miss out one day, you'll automatically be put on the list for the very next day. The Southampton Tennis Club follows the progressive tennis model where the size of the child determines the size of the equipment.
Novice players learn the fundamental strokes and are introduced to game play. Intermediate and advanced players are shown how to improve their techniques as well as their game strategy. Our goal is to offer excellent instruction in a fun learning environment so adults feel confident enough to join any of our social tennis programs, sign up for a tournament, or simply play more often with friends.
Cardio Tennis is a high-energy fitness activity that combines the best features of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie-burning aerobic workout. Regardless of your ability or fitness level, you'll get the ultimate workout. Each session includes three phases: warm-up, cardio workout, and cool-down resulting in "Heart Pumping Fitness".
